Uys and Botha take over from Elrigh Louw and Jacques du Plessis respectively, with Louw moving to the bench and Du Plessis ruled out through injury.

White has also decided to rotate his props, with Mornay Smith and Lizo Gqoboka coming in for Jacques van Rooyen and Simphiwe Matanzima in the front row.

The only other change to the starting team is at flyhalf, where Chris Smith starts in place of the injured Johan Goosen, while Morne Steyn has been included on the bench and is in line to make his competition debut should he get a run.

Matanzima, Louw and Steyn are joined on the bench by Schalk Erasmus (hooker) and Marco Jansen van Vuren (scrumhalf) in the final changes to the Vodacom Bulls’ match-23.

White said: “It’s been quite an experience for our squad in these past four weeks, adapting to the Vodacom United Rugby Championship – new opposition and unfamiliar conditions.

“Edinburgh Rugby is a top side that is well-coached with a number of international players. We expect another challenging encounter against a competitive opposition. We look forward to ending off this tour on a high note.”

The match at the DAM Health Stadium kicks off at 18h15 (SA time) and will be broadcast on SuperSport.
