SA RUGBY UNDER-20 SHIELD

In 2022, six teams will participate in two pools: North – Limpopo, Pumas, Valke; and South – Boland, Border, SWD. The competition kicked off early in April and all teams will play a double round of matches in their pool, followed by the final between the two pool winners, scheduled for 28 May. The last time this competition was held, in 2019 under the guise of the SA Rugby Under-20 Provincial Championship, the Down Touch Griffons defeated the EP Elephants by 37-29 in the final, claiming the title for a fourth time.
